| Playing with Puzzles: Preschool Activity |
| Puzzles are great for parents who are looking to prepare their children for preschool at home or those who are looking to homeschool preschool their children. What is nice about puzzles is that you have so many options. Our favorite types of puzzles are the wooden ones, namely the ones with the red knobs on them. With that in mind, traditional puzzles may do as well. For preschoolers and toddlers, I recommend preschool puzzles that are 25 or 50 pieces. When searching for puzzles to purchase, you may want to examine those that are educational in nature. You can find a number of puzzles that focus on ABCs, numbers, colors, shapes, animals, and so forth. It may also be a good idea to add in a puzzle featuring your child’s favorite movie or television characters, such as a Dora puzzle or a Winnie the Pooh puzzle. |
