| Playing Pretend House: Preschool Activity |
| Playing house is preschool pretend play at its best. Although not necessary, you may want to purchase play food or a play kitchen for your child. This makes playing pretend house easier. You can cook and serve meals to each other. Should you wish to purchase a play kitchen for your child, you will find that they can be quite expensive. If you do not have the hundred or so dollars often needed to purchase pretend play kitchens, you may want to keep an eye on your local yard sales, thrift stores, or examine online auction websites, such as eBay.com. Pretend house can also involve the use of dolls. If your child has a favorite doll, you can pretend that she is a member of the family. In addition to feeding the doll, playing with it, and so forth, you and your child can also lay it down for naps and do so much more. |
